Darcy came back to the spot where she and shin had been attacked, she took off her boot and socks and sat with the water lapping at her toes. she wrapped her arms around her legs and buried her head in her arms, she wished that she wasn't so dam headstrong, this would have never had happened if she had just done what kouta had said and stayed in the dorm.

The stars where out by the time Darcy raised her head, she had been here ages, in her ripped uniform and her feet were cod but she didn't move, she didn't care.

Shin walked to Darcy and sat next to her. "Sorry for leaving you like that the other day.....hey---what's wrong?" he asked.

Darcy thought for a moment then plucked up the courage to say what was on her mind "Is what you said in the infirmary true?"

Darcy looked up and stared at him "Oh you don't remember, then it doesn't matter"

Darcy looked at him shocked "You shouldn't" she said getting upset "You're a prince, soon to be king"

"I am sorry your highness" she said and turned to walk down the beach.

She stopped in her tracks and ran after him, she hugged him around the waist and sighed, she started to cry.
